Woodbridge Senior Care
Keeping Pets Happy & Comfortable in Their Golden Years
When pets reach their “golden years,” their regular health care needs change. Some senior pets are at a greater risk for arthritis, diabetes, and obesity so we recommend wellness exams at least twice a year for these patients. We also recommend a urinalysis and a comprehensive senior blood profile and CBC every year, as well as a heartworm test every other year—if no heartworm preventative doses have been missed.
For your convenience, a majority of our veterinary lab work is performed in house. If necessary, we can gladly discuss any other areas of concern, like senior pet nutrition and diet, exercise, and behavior modifications to help ensure your pet is as healthy as possible throughout their geriatric years.
